Sealed bids will be received and opened at the First Floor Chamber of the Municipal Building, 400 Park Avenue, Weehawken, New Jersey on:

TUESDAY, JULY 8TH 2008 AT 11:00 AM

HEATING OIL [#2 FUEL OIL] AND RELATED SERVICE NEEDS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEEHAWKEN

The specifications may be obtained Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the office of the Township Clerk. Bids must be set forth in words and figures and must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the words 'BID FOR SALE OF #2 HEATING OIL REQUIREMENTS AND RELATED SERVICE NEEDS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF WEEHAWKEN.'

No bids will be received after the time designated above for opening of bids. Bids may be received by mail provided that they are received prior to the designated opening time.

Proposals must be submitted on forms provided in the bid package and must comply with specifications on file in the Office of the Township Clerk. All forms in the bid package must be completed in their entirety and submitted with the bid.

The successful bidder must comply with Affirmative Action Requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127 and all other applicable laws, rules and regulations, including but not limited to the provisions of N.J.A.C. 5:34-3.1 to 3.4.

The Township reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids submitted if deemed to be in the best interests of the Township to do so.
