The Township Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of government and implementation of policies set by the governing body. All department directors report to him in the chain of command.

Acting as secretary to the governing body, the Office of the Township Clerk maintains all records with regard to the township’s local ordinances, resolutions and public proceedings. The Township Clerk's office also provides residents with marriage licenses, voter registration, birth certificates, copies of Town Ordinances passed by the Council, and is the keeper of Town records dating back to the 1800s.

The Tax Department is responsible for assessing property for tax purposes as well as collecting taxes. Municipal property taxes are used to fund the Town, county, school and refuse collection budgets. The Tax Department is also responsible for the maintenance of municipal liens.
